Microblading / Ombre Brows

All of our techniques fall under the category of permanent makeup, or tattoos, designed to enhance your appearance, making you look younger, more refreshed, and effortlessly polished!
Our brow permanent makeup techniques involve carefully inserting ink into the skin to create naturally beautiful eyebrows. We prioritize quality by using only cruelty-free and vegan pigments, along with disposable sterile needles.
Given that these procedures will result in long-lasting eyebrows, it's essential to fully understand the process. Our goal is to educate you about the brow procedure so you can make an informed and confident decision.
We invite you to take a moment to review our “Brow” guide for more insights into the permanent makeup process.
We look forward to earning your trust!

Three Types Of Brow Permanent Makeup

Picture

microblading

This technique involves using a hand tool to create hair-like strokes in the skin with ink, resulting in an eyebrow tattoo that mimics the appearance of natural hair. The microblading strokes blend seamlessly with your existing eyebrow hair, making it an excellent choice for those seeking subtly natural-looking brows.
  • Mimics natural hair strokes
  • Best suited for individuals with dry skin; not recommended for oily skin as the microblading strokes may not heal effectively.
  • Ideal for those with a good amount of natural eyebrow hair; not suitable for thin or sparse brows.
Typically, microblading lasts between 1 to 1.5 years, and yearly touch-ups are recommended to maintain the color and shape.

hybrid brows

This technique combines microblading hair strokes and shading for a beautifully blended effect. First, microblading is performed, followed by the application of a second tool that adds a soft, diluted color to fill in the gaps between the microblading strokes. The result is a fuller, more pigmented brow than what can be achieved with microblading alone.
  • Microblading hair strokes + Soft shading
  • Lasts longer than traditional microblading
  • An ideal choice for individuals with sparse hair or significant gaps in their natural brows
  • Particularly suitable for those with oily skin
Typically, this technique lasts up to 2 years, with yearly touch-ups recommended to maintain the color and shape.

microshading (ombre)

This technique uses a small machine to gently deposit pigment into the skin, creating a soft, powdered effect. Unlike microblading, which creates individual hair strokes, powder brows result in a full, shaded brow.
  • Soft and natural, resembling a light makeup fill.
  •  Lasts longer than microblading.
  • best for Individuals with little to no hair, or those with large gaps in their natural brows.
  • best for all skin types.
Typically lasts up to 3 years. Yearly touch-ups are recommended to maintain color and shape.

Who is a Good Candidate for Permanent Eyebrows?

The Perfect Brows for Busy Lives:
Permanent eyebrows are ideal for anyone who desires beautiful, effortless brows every day. This includes:
  • Busy Professionals: No more wasting time on daily brow makeup routines.
  • Active Individuals: Sweatproof and smudgeproof brows for workouts and swimming.
  • Anyone Seeking Flawless Brows: Achieve the perfectly shaped brows you've always dreamed of.
Additional Considerations:
  • Medical Conditions: Permanent makeup may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions like Trichotillomania, Alopecia, or undergoing cancer treatment. We recommend consulting your doctor if unsure.
  • Pregnant or Nursing: Wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding to ensure optimal results.
  • Prior Cosmetic Procedures: We generally cannot work over existing dark or discolored brow tattoos. However, feel free to email us a clear photo at [email protected] for potential next steps.
  • Medications: Certain medications like Accutane, Retinol, and blood thinners may affect pigment retention. Please disclose any current medications during your consultation.
  • Skin Conditions: Psoriasis, sun damage, or other skin conditions near the brows may require a doctor's clearance before proceeding.
  • Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older.
  • Overall Health: Ensure you are in good health before booking an appointment.
Factors Affecting Color Retention:
While permanent makeup offers long-lasting results, certain factors can influence how well your brows retain color:
  • Skin Type: Oily, combination, or ruddy skin with large pores may require more frequent touch-ups compared to dry skin.
  • Smoking: Smoking can affect pigment retention and distort colors.
  • Autoimmune Diseases: These may impact color retention.
  • Diabetes: Color retention may be compromised in individuals with diabetes.
  • Thyroid Conditions: Certain medications may affect pigment retention.
  • Rosacea or Anemia: These conditions may also impact color retention.

If you have any questions or concerns about your candidacy for permanent eyebrows, please don't hesitate to contact us [email protected]. We're here to help you achieve your dream brows!

how to prepare

  • Bring Inspiration: If you have any reference photos of desired brow shapes or colors, please bring them to your appointment.
  • Arrive with Natural Brows: If you typically wear brow makeup, please come to your appointment with your brows as you normally would. This helps your artist understand your preferred look.
  • Brow Maintenance: Avoid threading, waxing, or tweezing your brows for at least 7 days prior to your appointment. Your brow artist will shape them during the procedure.
  • Avoid Exercise: Refrain from strenuous exercise on the day of your appointment.
  • Medications: Avoid blood-thinning medications such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil, and Vitamin E before and after your procedure.
  • Alcohol and Caffeine: Avoid alcohol and caffeine on the day of your appointment.

What Should I Expect At My Brow Appointment?

Your permanent makeup appointment will typically last 2-3 hours.
  • Consultation: We'll begin with a thorough consultation to understand your goals, discuss your lifestyle, and assess your existing brow shape. Please bring reference photos if you have any. Together, we'll determine the best treatment for you: Microblading, Ombre Powder, or Hybrid.
  • Photography: Before we begin, we'll take photos of your natural brows for reference.
  • Numbness: A topical anesthetic will be applied to numb the brow area for your comfort.
  • Brow Mapping: We'll carefully map out your ideal brow shape using precise measurements and tools to ensure symmetry and balance. You'll have the opportunity to review and approve the shape before we proceed.
  • Procedure: The actual procedure will take approximately 1-1.5 hours.
  • Completion: After the procedure, we'll take post-procedure photos and provide you with detailed aftercare instructions.

Important Note: We do not offer separate consultation appointments. The consultation is an integral part of your initial brow procedure.
